 DDHS Sends Three to Bob Kames All Star Jazz Band
Seniors Zach Peterson (trumpet), Josh Parr (trombone), and Kevin Barry (bass trombone) have auditioned and been selected as members of the 2008 Bob Kames All-Star Jazz Band, based in South Milwaukee.

This summer ensemble of outstanding musicians from Southeastern Wisconsin performed at SUMMERFEST, State Fair, Bastille Days, and the Kettle Moraine Jazz Fest. 

The Bob Kames Foundation is a non-profit organization established to support and encourage student jazz musicians. In addition to the All-Star Band, the host a competitive Jazz Festival each spring.  Full details can be found at their website at www.bobkamesfoundation.org.
