You can click and print Parts 1 and 2 of the Homecoming Field Show below. If you are not sure what part to play (e.g. trumpets, clarinets, etc.), e-mail Mr. Carter and he'll let you know!
 Click to play hear Homecoming Parts 1 & 2 (48K MIDI file) (NOTE: Actual sounds may be changed, to pianos and "whistles" instead of brass and percussion. Don't panic. Also, the tempo of "Renegade" is too fast. It will be quarter notes at 132, not 188! But at least you get a rough idea for now. We WILL sound like a band when we play it.)

Music By the Lake at Williams Bay will feature the same Gordon Goodwin Big Band that we have commissioned pieces with! Saturday, August 9, 2008, evening. Tickets are limited, so order early.

DDHS Sends Three to Bob Kames All Star Jazz Band
Juniors Zach Peterson (trumpet), Josh Parr (trombone), and Kevin Barry (bass trombone) have auditioned and been selected as members of the 2008 Bob Kames All-Star Jazz Band, based in South Milwaukee.
This summer ensemble of outstanding musicians from Southeastern Wisconsin will perform at SUMMERFEST (Thursday, June 28, 12 noon, Briggs and Stratton Stage), State Fair, Bastille Days, and the Kettle Moraine Jazz Fest.
The Bob Kames Foundation is a non-profit organization established to support and encourage student jazz musicians. In addition to the All-Star Band, the host a competitive Jazz Festival each spring. Full details can be found at their website at www.bobkamesfoundation.org.
